But before it comes to a complete halt, I gotta fill you all in on what you missed in Jacksonville. Team AND 1 came out RUNNIN’ and didn’t look back from the moment they stepped out on the floor. You want to talk about action-packed excitement? Ohh baby that’s what the good people of Jacksonville, Florida got. Both sides were battling back and forth – I liked the up-tempo style of game because it keeps me in better shape. If the players are stepping it up, then you KNOW I’ve got to step it up. Big shout to Half Man – Half Amazing for playing with the same intensity and determination that I saw when I first named him…grabbing every board like it was his last, taking some great shots and playing with that ‘never say quit’ attitude. You want to play like someone, play like my guy Half-Man. He may not be as flashy as some of these other guys, but he loves to play and shows it every second he is out on that court. And that, my friends, is a true baller. Jacksonville – thank you for coming out despite the bad weather conditions – I left impressed with how much love you showed in our first stop there. I hope we can come back next year. Man, so two cities left and this thing is a wrap. I can’t believe how quick the time goes…before I know it we’ll be back at it and in the first city of 2005. It’s crazy B – I just need to take a nice long nap after it all and get back to my family in NYC for some down time…although they are as crazy as me so I may not have too much ‘down’ time.
