-Written By Ginuwine One word describes HotSauce: Excellence. The 24 yr old ATL Native wows people with his breathtaking moves, and his lightning quick dribbles. Its true, no one has seen this type of streetballing since the early days of Skip To My Lou. Skips entering his golden era with Half Man-Half Amazing so HotSauce will have to take the slack for now. Hot Sauce born Phillip Champion was first featured in And 1 Mixtape VL. 3. When I first popped it in, I had no idea this kid was that sick. I was buying the tape to see clips of AO. I'm watching the tape, and out of nowhere Phillip claims he has 100 moves in his dribble arsenal. He might be tellin the truth people, featuring the most popular of them : "The Windmill", "The Hypnotizer", and most hyped move "The Boomerrang". One thing most people don't know about Phillip is he was born in Bronx, NY...not ATL. So to the haters out there that say HotSauce can't handle the cats in New York, HE WAS BORN IN NEW YORK FOOS! What's in a name? When it comes to Dennis Anthony Chism, Jr., aka "Spyda" a lot more than you can handle. From his signature Spyda dunk to his passion to play for an NBA team, one can say he has chosen the right plays to execute. You might know his character from the television show ESPN " Street ball" or the And1 Tour. Chism has been ready for his close up for a while now. (check out his cameos in music videos). Playing with the Las Vegas ABA team, should now give him the experience and respect as he gets one step closer to his life long goal, to wear his own NBA jersey, and yes (he would wear it off court) would set his career in overdrive. It's great to come across an athlete who never once mentioned the word, MONEY. Don't get me wrong the money is important , but i guess Chism is more concerned with playing time. If only they all possessed what few in the league do... Show up to play. Met Spyda, know the name, and soon know the face. Only thing I don't see right in Phillip is his jumper. If you ever seen unrealeased clips of Hot Sauce, he has a very awkard shot. Sometimes it goes in, sometimes it don't. One thing is for sure, can't no body guard him despite his jumper. He tore up the likes of baseball star Kenny Lofton, football star Jacquez Green, random white people on the street, and Rendel Anthony. Only the future can tell what will happen with HotSauce. He's starting a whole new generations of ballaz including me. Lets just see what he does in And 1 Mixtape 6...set to drop somewhere around July 4. |
